Extremely Rare 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Ellena with Matching Numbers: One of Just 50 Produced
This highly sought-after 1958 Ferrari 250GT Ellena is a matching numbers example just out of 38 years of dedicated ownership. Blu Scuro with tan leather and stunningly beautiful throughout. The 43th of a total of 50 units built and documented by Ferrari historian Marcel Massini. A rare and exciting opportunity to own a three digit Enzo Era Ferrari. Originally sold by Luigi Cinetti and purchased from the second owner, 0867 has had a complete engine and transmission rebuild by Terry Myr less than 100 miles ago. Chassis no. 0867 has also benefited from maintenance over the years by Wayne Sparling, Terry Myr, Tom Yang, and Francios Sicard. It was restored between 2000 and 2002 with an emphasis on originally and the Ferrari driving experience. Paint was applied by David Carte of Classic and Sport Auto and interior by Herb Chowaniak. The Ellena runs and drives excellent and shows wonderfully with lovely paint, chromework, and interior. This Ellena coupe is a fantastic example of an important part of the Ferrari road car story. This rare and distinctive Ellena-bodied 250 GT would make a beautiful addition to any sporting collection.
